Made for More: A Week We’ll Never Forget

We’re still holding onto the beauty of this year’s Princess Promise Camp. Our second annual camp was filled with joy, connection, and a powerful reminder woven through it all—these girls are Made for More!

Each day, Biblical truth was poured into the girls through large group teaching, then carried into small groups and crafts where it became personal. Through our partnership with a local Sierra Leonean church, New Harvest, incredible young leaders walked alongside them—helping them understand, in a deeper way, the God who loves them so fiercely.

There were moments of pure celebration—Africana Night, where everyone dressed in their best, shared a traditional meal, and danced the night away. Birthdays were celebrated, girls were recognized with special awards, and the sweetest girls cheered each other on with genuine joy. At Bonfire Night, the celebration turned reflective with testimonies, singing, and worship under the night sky next to the glow of a fire.

One of the most meaningful moments came during family day at the beach, where four girls were baptized. They were surrounded by friends and family, with voices singing “I Have Decided to Follow Jesus” as cheers broke out all around them.

Before heading home, we gathered one final time. Each family received a Bible and thanks to local sponsor, Roy Global, a solar radio, giving the girls a way to keep learning and growing long after camp ended.

Because of you, this week was more than special—it was deeply meaningful, and it will stay with these girls for years to come.
With deepest gratitude,
The Princess Promise Team
