Eight More Girls Are Safe Because Of You!

We have something really special to celebrate with you.

Because of your generosity, eight new girls came into Princess Promise’s care in January. Three to our Bo Town Center and five in Freetown — each one now surrounded by consistency, protection, and people who love them deeply.

Even more beautiful, three girls have already been joyfully reunified with family, and we are actively tracing relatives for others so they, too, can rest in the peace of a safe home. Watching families restored never gets old.

The reasons they arrived were heartbreaking and varied — family conflict, neglect, kidnapping, the loss of a caregiver, and children who were lost or abandoned with nowhere safe to go. But the moment they walked through our doors, their stories began to change. Every time — we get to say yes. Yes to safety. Yes to healing. Yes to hope. And that’s only possible because of you. One of those girls is Zainab*. At just 11 years old, Zainab has already endured more loss than most of us face in a lifetime — surviving a medical crisis, then losing both her mother and father, and later the grandmother who lovingly stepped in to raise her. After her grandmother’s passing, a heated family battle ensued, leaving her nowhere safe to go.So Princess Promise received the call. Now she’s at our Freetown home — sleeping safely, eating warm meals, being comforted, prayed over, and gently reminded every day that she is not alone. Sitting beside her in her grief is both heartbreaking and incredibly sacred. We count it such an honor to walk with her and point her toward Christ, our ultimate Comforter, who holds her tender heart so carefully. This is what your support does. It opens doors. It creates safety. It gives girls like Zainab a place to land when the world falls apart. Eight more girls are safe today because of you. And we couldn’t be more grateful.
