Nearly 80 girls. One big back-to-school season.

As children across the United States head back to school, our team on the ground in Sierra Leone is already hard at work preparing our girls to begin their new school year next month.

And with nearly 80 girls to get ready, it’s no small feat!

Behind every girl who walks into her classroom ready to learn is a long list of preparations happening now. Our team is busy:

–Getting school uniforms ready

–Fitting each girl for school shoes

–Purchasing school supplies

–Completing school enrollment

–Making tuition payments

–Preparing and maintaining our buses that pick up the girls and take them to school

–Working with tutors as they prepare lesson plans for the year ahead

Each of these details is part of something much bigger: giving every girl the opportunity to show up to school prepared, supported, and confident that there are people cheering her on.

Because of your support of Princess Promise, our girls have more than the supplies they need for school. They have a team surrounding them, investing in their education and reminding them that their future is worth preparing for.
